DIY - Denim bag

As I said on my Instagram yesterday; the theme of this weekend is DENIM! And to follow up on yesterday's Denim lookbook on my youtube channel, I will here on the blog give you something else; A little DIY.

I got this idea from my friend from Sweden, who I spend a summer evening with every year we are on holiday there. A few years ago she had this amazingly cool bag I thought, and I just had to know where she had got it from, and guess what - she had maked it herself!

Let me know if you try this out! I personally think this bag is really cool, because it has a lot of small rooms, because the jeans had a lot of pockets, so you got one big, that is seperated into two (the legs) and a lot of smaller ones (pockets)

And now I have one myself too! All you have to do is follow these simple steps:

  1. Find a pair of old denim jeans you don't need anymore! Now cut them somewhere on the thigh, where on the thigh you cut them, makes how "deep" the bag is.
  2. Now sew the leg together at the bottom. Do this to both legs.
  3. The rest of the jeans that you cut away, you will need now. Cut them into one long or two smaller long. Now sew it like one long "rope" and sew this on to the bag you have from step 2. Look at the pictures below, it will make it a lot easier!

Until next time,
