In stitches

You probably think of the Shawn Mendes song, don't you? I get why - that song is so catchy! But what I think about is my own favourite nail polish from Essie called "in stitches" and I can't get enough of it!

It's the perfect colour for every season and occasion I think. On a cold spring day, where winter is just about to leave, it's yet warm enough to be perfect on a summer night dinner, for autumn it is even better and it is perfect for winter and Christmas time.

Whit this dress, which I borrowed from my friend, I thought it was the perfect "season's changing"-outfit. It is a thin summer dress, yet it is in autumnal colours and long sleeved. You could easily wear a sweater over so it would look like a skirt! or for a summer party in the evening with a pastel-pink pair of heeled sandals.

I actually thought this "in stitches" meant something that wasn't quite nice, because normally you would get stitched if you were hurt - you see what I mean? But then I looked the meaning up, and it was quite the opposite meaning I found:

"in stitches
Fig. laughing very hard. Charlie had us in stitches with all his jokes. The movie sure was funny. I was in stitches!"

And it made me love this nail polish even more!
Myself and my friend I borrowed it from are both going through different and hard times in our lifes at the moment, and I can't wait till we will be seeing each other again on Sunday so we can be in stitches, because we both really need that.

So for Emma: Hold on it gets easier, and then it gets okay, and then it feels like freedom (Taylor Swift quote) - and then I can't wait to see you on Sunday. My sister from another mister

What I wore:

Dress from H&M
Shoes from Victory via Diechmann
Nailpolish from Essie in "in stitches"
Little gold necklace from Pernille Cordyn
Rest of the jewelry is either gifts or inherited

Until next time,
x Sofie
